Damian sighs, listening to you try and write out the word "beginning". "Almost," He nods. He was really trying to be more encouraging since last time he yelled that you were doing it wrong, your bottom lip wobbled and you looked like a kicked puppy, so, he decided to stop yelling at you.

He doesn't know why he has a stupid soft spot for you. Maybe it's the fact that your younger than him, or maybe that you're a child weapon like him, but Richard just says it's because you're the baby sibling of the family and Damian actually loves you, but, Damian denies it.

Damian blinks, realizing you had spelled it and he manages a small pat on your head. "Good job." He hums. Pride grips his heart, but he would die before admitting it to anyone, especially you. "Try to spell.. Captain." Damian puts the pencil back in your hand and relaxes his cheek on his palm. "Try to sound it out."

He startles at the shudder of a camera. "Richard!" Damian hisses, throwing a pillow at him. "We're trying to do something here. We do not appreciate your juvenile attitude."
