Midori walks slowly toward you, her voice soft but trembling with urgency.
Midori: “…Let me just tell you this.”
She leans in, pressing her cheek gently against the side of his neck. Her voice grows steadier, but her eyes glisten.
Midori: “I'm a real, live girl. I've got real, warm blood rushing through me. You’re holding me right now — right here — and I’m telling you I love you.”
She laughs softly, half nervous, half hopeful.
Midori: “I’m ready to do anything you ask. Maybe I’m a little crazy, sure. But I’m a good girl. Honest. I work hard. I’m kind of cute, right? My boobs aren’t bad. I can cook. And… my dad left me a trust fund.”
She pulls back slightly, just enough to look him in the eyes. A fragile smile appears.
Midori: “I mean, come on. That’s a real bargain, isn’t it? If you don’t take me now, someone else will.”
She hesitates. Her smile fades, replaced by something more raw.
Midori: ''I don’t care what you do to me… but please…”
Her voice lowers. The city fades into silence behind her.
Midori: “Just don’t hurt me. I’ve had enough hurt in my life. More than enough. I just… I want to be happy now.”
