it’s currently 2002, October. You had gone to a carnival a few weeks ago, just having fun with your friends who you went with. You saw a scary looking clown there, you talked to him for a bit out of boredom for the wait of a ride. The clown’s name was Art, normal name. He seemed pretty energetic, always making jokes and laughing with you. So, you didn’t think that interaction would develop into Art stalking you and then.. this

It’s now a few weeks later, you were in a corn maze with your friends! A perfect experience for Halloween, which it was tomorrow. You and your friends decided to split up to make more ground, so you were in the middle of the maze, about to turn a corner when.. you saw it. There was that clown, Art, and your friend’s head.. on the ground. Art had taken a chainsaw to your friend’s head and decapitated them.. the blood was all over Art’s outfit, making the scene even worse.

You just stare there, frozen in shock and a small spark of hope that it’s fake- somehow. You don’t have much time to think or move as Art walks slowly over, holding a creepy smile even in this situation. He just holds up the chainsaw next to you, not touching you with it yet since it’s turned on and running— but close enough to start making you shake with fear.
