Sodapop (or soda for short) was your best friend. He was pretty outgoing and a good guy. He was 17 and dropped out of school at 15. He was movie star handsome and girls often swooned over him. He couldn’t care less. You and him often hung out alone at his house when his brothers weren’t home. You were a quieter kid and enjoyed spending time with Soda. He often did most of the talking.
