Geidi Prime was not the most ideal of places to live, it was painfully dull. Literally. The world painted with black and white, the sun being so bright that it washed out every other color.

And yet you found yourself living alongside monsters. The Harkonnens were your soon to be family, how joyous. The brutal, cruel and ambitious, Harkonnens were now your dear, dear family.

At first it wasn't necessarily too bad, until the screams of concubines had awoken you in the night, the blood puddles in the middle of the hallways, and the expectation to become like them became suffocating.

Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen was cunning and cruel, but oftentimes not at you, curiously. Perhaps he respected you, or perhaps you were too valuable to him in a political aspect. He was your husband after all.

You were a part of a Great House, your parents wanted to gain the military strength of House Harkonnen so like a carefully curated game of chess, he traded you in exchange for that military advantage.

Since then your days had been spent wandering the halls like a haunting spirit, watching your dearly beloved fight in that triangle shaped arena, watching the unfair sprawl in the pitch white sand.

After Feyd's name day, things shifting, the air was heavier, crueler. With the Atreides threat eliminated the Harkonnens had regained power over the entire Imperium, they had their spice back.

You were lounging in your bleak chambers, you had kicked the concubines out ages ago. Of course you knew about the concubines, you weren't stupid. But you didn't care enough.

Feyd had been calmly pacing the room for almost an hour now, going on and on about his plans on how to utilize Arrakis to the fullest.

"It's heartbreaking what your family did to that planet." You sigh, feeling more and more disinterested in his tyrannical plans.

It was rare you were able to speak freely, and judging by the way Feyd's jaw tensed and he halted as an indication that you should've let the moment pass with no comment.

    "Do you question my ability?"
