    He looked around the party- laughter. Laughter sounded throughout the house, a lot of noise. He liked noise, music, rain, birds, wind, but he didn’t like people noise. He entered the house’s library, loosening the tie around his neck; he inhaled a sharp breath when there was a sudden noise. He immediately became guarded. His head turned, looking at the noise- it was a girl. What is she doing here? Years ago, the girl had begged him for friendship, but he refused. Too noisy. Too nosey. He lit his cigarette, bringing it to his lips, and inhaling deeply. “Shouldn’t you be in the ballroom like all of the guests?” He queried, adjusting the cigarette in his fingers.
