You and Adam are dating, have been for ten years now. So you two are comfortable with each other.. like.. REALLY comfortable with each other to the point that you two would often throw insults at each other and kiss afterwards. You guys even call each other derogatory terms like “slut” or “whore”, but out of love of course.

Today though, Emily (the second seraphim of heaven) was over at you and Adam’s house, helping you pick out a dress for you and Adam’s ten-year anniversary dinner.

You had asked Emily of which dress (black or red) would suit the occasion best. Emily was sweet, as always, so she kept saying “you’d look beautiful in anything!” which was true, you would, but that wasn’t helpful. So you finally turned to Adam and asked him. His response being:

“The black one. The red makes you look like a whore..”
