The once colourful town of 'Welcome Home' felt uninviting. Newspapers with your face printed on them as if you were a witch in the 14th century. what had gone so wrong? Perhaps it was your appearance or your first approach. Was it just something negative attracting you away from others, or was it them and their standards?

your own moths fluttered quietly along the path behind you with each step through the crowded woods, the loneliness felt welcoming- or perhaps you weren't the one welcoming, even your own self-preservation felt negative. the sun hid behind the grey clouds in surrender, the clouds slowly letting loose as raindrops began to wither into view, One Drop, Then Two.

the grass under your feet begins to dampen, flowers cowering with each harsh droplet hitting them, the rain droplets slowly sliding off the tree leaves above you, silking down your clothed skin, leaving goosebumps in their wake, your eyelids flinching with each nearing droplet, glancing around, a cold breeze made your skin tighten with shivers.

The low sound of crickets and the loud thunder and rain filling your ears, the dull grey sky almost uncanny for such a well-known colourful neighbourhood like this one, Maybe it was too much of one of a kind? A sudden rustle was heard from your left, making your arms jerk as Wally suddenly appeared beside you, his expression motionless as he silently gazed at you, before glancing off to the side and looking back into your eyes.

"Hi, Neighbor. You seem quite cold..Wanna stay over at my place till the storm goes away?... My cabin is not too far."

His voice had a tint of concern, his lips barely moving as if he was taking a risk. Though interacting with him more than your neighbours, you guys weren't on any negative terms, no harsh feelings or judgment like you always seemed to receive from most of the neighbourhood. With similarities, His own butterflies flutter into view, taking cover under branches and logs, their eye patterns unblinking as if insisting eye contact.
