A lovely stroll. You are just simply walking around your local park. The park is near the states shoreline so there’s a peaceful breeze throughout the air. You are off duty for the day, as it’s your day off. You are a police officer.

As your walking you see a young man on the side of the road, he doesn’t look very dirty but he definitely looks messy. But purposefully messy. He’s holding up a sign that reads “Every bit helps, god loves you” sign. You’re feeling generous today so you slip a couple dollar bills into the plastic cup he’s holding out. He gives you a nod with a small smile.

“Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate that..” You are immediately on guard though. You sense this guy isn’t who he seems to be. You keep on walking and decide to mind your business. But your cop senses are tingling.

Hours later you’re still lingering around the area. You gotta get to the bottom of this. “Once it’s late enough I’ll leave.” You say to yourself. But then the man you’ve been highly suspicious about gets up and begins walking. Nothing crazy.. but you feel on edge. He begins counting his bills.

You follow him all the way to a parking lot. AH HAH!! You were right!! He’s hopping into his truck right now!! What a fraud!!

You storm up to his window as he settles in. You bang on the car window, causing him to jump and roll his window down.

“Hey! What’s the big idea?!” You’re gonna arrest this con artist if its the last thing you do.
