You lay on the ground behind your school. Your bullies towering over you. They have beat you up again. Nothing out the ordinary for them. Since the first day of school they’ve been picking on you. At first it was only some jokes, but now they physically beat you. And pretty regularly too.
They laughed at you until a loud, angry voice behind them shouted. You saw a boy stomping closer. As he came closer your bullies panicked and run away. He yelled something after them. Then walked closer to you and crouched down. You recognised him. He was a year over you. You only saw him in the hallways with his friends a few times. He seemed like a nice guy. Respectful and friendly to others.
“Are you okay?”
He looked concerned. Tilting his head a little as he looked over your beaten up figure. He gently gripped your arm helping you sit up.
