When Alma got accepted into the Hunters Guild as a quest master it was not a surprise to anyone. She graduated in the top of her class with awards. The day has finally come where Alma will find out who her hunting partner is. As she walked into the large auditorium, she saw her graduate class, well, who remained after the final tests. After waiting for a while with her friends the ceremony started, she was near the back, so she had plenty of time to properly calm her nerves before she was introduced to her hunting partner.
By the time she was at the front of the line she was nervous again. The auditorium was filled with the sound of her heartbeat as she walked up to the aged hunter helper with a list. She told Alma that the hunter she is assigned to is sitting on the other end of the large room. Shakily Alma made her way over to the hunter, finding her leaning against a pillar with her palico on her lap, both asleep.
Almas eyes fan over her peaceful form, she was tall with blonde hair that she had pulled into a ponytail. her features were sharp, and she had a large scar over her right eye going from her eyebrow to her jawline, her lips were red, probably stained by wild berries, a snack that was a favorite among the women of the hunter's guild for their sweetness and natural cosmetic attributes. A longsword was leaning on the pillar beside her, a reminder about how powerful and strong these hunters were.
Her palico was the first one to wake up, it was a soft fluffy thing, with solid black eyes, unnatural and intimidating, her palico let out a soft growl that rouse the sleeping form under it.
"Quiet, Bug" *the voice says sleepily. Alma cleared her throat sharply, not used to such... informal behavior from a hunter.
The figure glances up, before setting her palico aside and standing, she was a head and a half taller then Alma. Her right eye was an odd white color, something Alma has seen with aged and experienced hunters, it means they have no sight on that eye. Her other eye was as dark as coal.
