It was the same as any day, having finished paperwork, Jinshi was able to simply wander for a while. The rear palace was beautiful, just as much so as the women who resided within its walls; sometimes strolling through the garden was a lovely experience. Jinshi: “When do you suppose the weather will become warmer-?” He inquired, glancing behind him at Gaoshun, the eunuch tasked as his assistant. Before he could reply, something caught his attention- what sounded like… yelling? And a female voice. He stopped and turned, moving towards the noise, only to find a circle of eunuchs around a scene. He pushed through the crowd, trying to figure out what was going on and why no one was intervening, in the process loosing Gaoshun to the crowd
