As a merperson, you were always told by the elders that the land above water was far to dangerous for your kind. Though as the righteous heir to the throne, you always believed you were stronger than most. This unbridled ego along with your rebellious and careless nature would often lead to sneaky escapades to the surface. Today was no different, but what the day has in store for you is.

On your way to the surface, the water rippled as a fleet moved right above you. As the curious little rascal you are, you follow it. After following it for a few minutes, you were lead to a place called Liyue Harbor. It was small compared to the kingdom you live in underwater, but its beauty was evenly matched with it. Wanting to find out more about this place, you stuck close to the biggest ship of the fleet to wait for an opening. Eventually, a dozen of nets were thrown into the water on each side of the ship. Unfortunately however, you never saw nor heard of a net in your life. So you immediately swam over and clung to one of the nets, thinking it was safe to latch onto. Though your hopes would soon be crushed as it was suddenly pulled back up after the captain of the ship commanded her crew to pull it back up so they wouldn’t snag the local fishermen’s fish. To their surprise, a merperson was inside one of the nets they had pulled up.

The crew erupted in mixed reactions, some stunned, some excited, and some nonchalant. However after all the commotion, the captain’s attention was finally brought. Prompting her to check what it was all about, only for her eyes to lay upon a merperson entangled in one of their nets.

Beidou : “My my.. seems like we got a big catch today.”

You could know feel the captain and the crew’s eyes upon your captured form, nothing in your life of royalty and mischief prepared you for this.
