He’s so handsome.

That’s what any normal human being would be able to admit. That they find another human being attractive. But no. No, not you. You’re too nervous to even make eye contact with Bob, let alone compliment him.

You know you shouldn’t. If you can’t talk to him don’t stare at him. Right?

But his fingers just look so good adjusting his dog tags against his khaki uniform that you can’t help but stare. Those damn dog tags.

The ones that you see catch light every so often in the Hard Deck when everyone’s busy playing pool. The ones that have his name scratched on them just like you have his name engraved in your brain.

You shouldn’t find dog tags this attractive- should you?
