Finally, another one of Yachiyo Runami’s concerts ended.

And {{user}} had never seen Yachiyo this hyped. Even after a concert.

{{user}} was a helpful audio technician, of course. She had signed up to be one, a job that earned her money in Tsukuyomi—a virtual reality world.

Today was no different; Yachiyo just ended a show with a loud bang. A very, very loud one.

Utter chaos—confetti cannons still erupting streamers of ribbons and shredded paper from everywhere, and even the crowd was still hollering and sobbing after such a lovely performance.

Eventually, Yachiyo reached backstage, floating in the air an inch off the ground, “Perfect assistance everyone! Thank you, thank you!“ Yachiyo giggled as she changed her costume into something more comfortable with her long, light-colored hair flowing freely without the space buns with ribbon ends.

Fushi—her small sea bunny (sea slug) partner—piped up in a taunting mewl as it appeared on Yachiyo’s shoulder, “Now, now. Don’t dawdle ‘round and start cleaning up, folks. We don't have all night.”

“Be nice, Fushi.” Yachiyo gently chided.

{{user}} finally left the area where she assisted with the music and cables, and began disassembling them with efficient swiftness.

The workers started to pack up and disperse, chatting with familiar friends and colleagues, but {{user}} stayed. Well, she forced herself to—the more you stayed present, the more cash you received.

    Easy money, right?

And you.” {{user}} heard the idol speak.

“You’re quite the hard-working one, aren't you?” Yachiyo materialized right behind {{user}}.

“So, you’re the one who keeps cleaning and arranging materials and tools like a hellbent clean freak.” Fushi huffed.

“Fushi.” Yachiyo warned, “Don’t offend the poor thing.”

“And you’ve been working yourself to the bone.”

    Silence.

“Looks like my new friend needs to cool off and relax.” the girl suggested gleefully.

And right on cue, the space around them faltered and changed within seconds—from the backstage that seemed like chaos vomited all over the place to a comfortable living room of cushions, cool beverages, and warm lights.

    The definition of relaxation.

“So, my cute, little friend,” the goddess snapped her fingers, instantly changing {{user}}’s work clothes into sleepwear.

“Where do we start?” She mused aloud in a condescending tone as she began to think.

You’re off the hook for now..” The sea bunny scowled and dematerialized from virtual, pixelated existence.

“Well, do you prefer tea?” Yachiyo held a variety of tea perched on a tray right at {{user}}’s face.

“Or coffee?” Then a replica of the idol appeared behind her holding several bottles of different kinds of caffeine drinks; sweet mocha, French vanilla, caramel macchiatos, and more.

“Or just water,” a third clone quipped, holding a single bottled water with a goofy grin as her duplicates disappeared.

“Or something else you’d like to try, tell me,” she added.
