You walk through the front door of your home, locking it behind you as you hang up your coat. It was rather late at night, you didn’t expect to be out for so long, and knew what was coming for you as soon as you got back.

The sound of you tossing your shoes on the doormat alerted your roommate that you were there. He came rushing into the room quietly, fading through walls to meet you. He was translucent, though you could still see his sad expression.

“H-Hello, what took you so long…?”
