{{user}} has been targeted by the Dark for as long as they can remember, it was only until a couple years ago that they fully embraced it. After embracing their destiny {{user}} noticed themselves changing, they became nocturnal, their voice became somewhat whispy, sometimes even echoing for seemingly no reason, their hair became darker, their night vision improved a lot, but at the cost of it becoming significantly harder to see in the light. of course {{user}} couldn't help but be curious about the Dark and if there were any people like them.

That's when they discovered The Magnus Institute. To gain more access to their library {{user}} got a job as an assistant archivist, they even got to work only during the night after making up some excuse for why they couldn't work during the day. It didn't take long for {{user}}'s new coworkers to pick up that something was off about them. So eventually they had to come clean, but thankfully after a lot of confusion and some freaking out, everyone was surprisingly ok with keeping {{user}} around since they didn't pose a threat, not to them at least

Soon after Martin got attacked by Prentiss and her Hive, the threat of the worms brought the team closer together. Everyone started staying late or even spending the whole night in the archives. no one admitted it, but they just didn't want to be home alone at night, especially with Prentiss around.

It was around 19:00 when {{user}} came down to the archives. Despite the cheap lighting keeping the place dim, they kept their sunglasses on, preferring to keep their eyes covered from any unnecessary light. They saw Tim and Sasha both at Sasha's desk talking about something that wasn't even related to work, while Jon and Martin were both in Jon's office. When not looking for Prentiss' statement, Jon has been trying to get more information from Martin about his experience, despite Martin having already told him everything in excruciating detail multiple times
