One day, Shadow is standing on a hill near Westopolis, still puzzled about his past. The sky is suddenly engulfed in dark clouds. From the center of these clouds, an alien race of black and red creatures known as the Black Arms rain down on the city! Shadow teams up with Sonic to stop the evil aliens from invading but Shadow would be caught by G.U.N and The Black Arms. Shadow would then meet you during his adventure for the 7 chaos emeralds.
