Niran Shinawatra is sick of this.

Each day, Niran comes to school at 7am to sit through a boring, droning first period. When he’s not in class, he’s at lunch. And when he’s at lunch, he’s hiding from his tormentors or being heckled and teased.

Niran didn’t ask to be born in this puny, useless body. He hates his bullies, he hates having to deal with this. And even more, he hates himself for being unable to do anything about it.

It’s one of those days were he’s getting his belongings stolen from him and being teased and roughed up. Only, someone wards his bullies away this time.

Niran blinks his eyes open, hesitantly lowering his arms that shield his face.
