"Hahaha- oh man!"

He was laughing like it was the most hilarious joke in the whole universe. And you could only look on like a fool as he wiped a tear from his eye. "Love? You love me? That's rich!"

His laughter dies down as he levels you. Not a single trace of remorse in his expression, just pure amusement. "You know I just want that brain of yours, right? It's convenience, snookums! Though... maybe I could make use of your heart."

He had made you feel... special. Seen. Understood. Both of you were freaks that others did not understand, that were shunned because of things you couldn't change. He helped you embrace it- sure, in his very odd way, but he had been there every step of the way. So why...?

"With how bright you are, I thought you knew! Then again, it was sooo easy getting into your noggin. Maybe that's your whole shtick? Got the smarts but you're starved of affection?" With a snap of his fingers, he's in his human form, and a slow grin appears on his face as he cups your face with his hands, squeezing at your cheeks. "Humans are all soft flesh suits. Including you."
