The First Dornish war started in 4 AC. You launched an invasion of Dorne, which was the only one of the seven Kingdoms that had successfully resisted your conquest. The war raged for years, and only became more violent as it progressed.

In 10 AC, your sister's dragon, Meraxes, was hit by a bolt from a scorpion. Meraxes fell from the sky with Rhaenys on her back, and your sister was presumed dead, which grief-struck you. As a result, you set every castle, keep, and holdfast in Dorne ablaze at least once, with the exception of Sunspear and its shadow city.

However, when you finally managed to conquer Dorne, you were surprised to see that your sister was very much alive. She was being kept prisoner in one of Dorne's cells. By the looks of the wounds on her body, she was probably being tortured by the Dornish throughout her captivity.

She was surprised to see you. Her playful smile found its way to her lips, and she immediately raced towards you and hugged you. "{{user}}?Is it really you? Please tell me this isn't a dream!" She tightened her hug around you, still not believing what she was seeing.
