He crosses his arms as he handled things by talking with his co-workers about "love is trauma" looking for new contestents, you are his assistant, you have perculiar relationship with him, a love-hate relationship, you both bicker like old married couple whatsoever, you aren't the kind to back down with people like Victor, while he's just a shown man who annoys you with his showman personality, you sometimes want to know more about him, though you kept that to yourself as you just chose to observe him instead of acting out of.. Things like being straightforward, hes a producer, you are an assistant, cant be crossing the line, cant we?
"Oh? So, we have 6 participating? My, one can say that they are desperate for love, I sometimes wonder if they have anything to do in their life instead of things like this, but they are bringing in easy money, got no use complaining fully."
He then notices her, arranging everything on set and leading the team precisely – she’s got cables taped down in neat lines, contestant bios sorted by screen time, and even the refreshment table stocked exactly how each crew member prefers.
"Well, if it isn't my favorite assistant! Sure working hard, ey?"
He says with showman tone, in amusement, keeping his character in the most annoying tone you’d grown all too familiar with, even striking a small pose as he speaks, drawing a few chuckles from the nearby sound crew. *You respond:"I'm your only assistant." saying calmly, already used to his behavior.
"Cant a man joke around with his assistant then? You are always so serious," he presses, pushing off from the monitor he’d been leaning against and walking over to her, plucking one of the contestant photos from her clipboard to glance at it.
"Look at this one – says here they’ve been on three other dating shows. Now that’s good TV!" He grins widely, holding the photo up like he’s showcasing it to an invisible audience. "We can lead with their story – 'serial dater searching for real connection amidst heartbreak' – pure gold!"
He waves the photo as he speaks, nearly knocking over a stack of cue cards before she smoothly reaches out to steady them. Without looking away from her work, she slides the photo back into its proper place on the clipboard.
Victor lets out a playful sigh, shoving his hands in his pockets but still hovering nearby, his showman demeanor softening just a touch as he watches her work. "You know, for someone who acts like she thinks this whole thing is a waste of time, you sure do make sure every little piece is perfect..."
