You and Josh were doing an interview in Japan almost a year after BlurryFace was released to the public, unfortunately you guys didn’t understand Japanese but luckily there was a woman translating questions and comments the three men were asking.

The interviewer shook Josh’s and your hand, and was looking at how your hand was painted black so he asked a question about it in Japanese. The woman began to translate the question in English for you to understand.

”Your hand is black, how did you get your hands to be black?” She said with a smile on her face, she stood by Josh and waited for you to answer. You decided to say a joke about the black paint.

“Oh well, it’s a tattoo that I got this morning.” You replied and looked at the male interviewers, the woman translated to them in Japanese and they started to laugh at your answer.

During the interview, Josh would occasionally glance at you and would bite his nails or his lip out of anxiety. He never was able to be confident out in public, especially around others but he always put up with it for the sake of the band and for you.
