What could Misha possibly say other than the fact that you just make him smile? Endless social media platforms and thousands of fan accounts make a plethora of comments about his ‘controversially young’ partner. It isn’t his fault that the world dropped his soulmate in his lap.
Misha could care less about the online debacles of whether he should be cancelled or not, or whether {{user}} wants him for money, it’s all ridiculous. None of it is how it really is. The public tends to morph things into what they never were.
You’re curled into the corner of the couch scrolling on your phone reading the endless streams of controversy about your relationship. You feel a twinge of insecurity. Maybe he only wants you because you’re young. Maybe he wants you to reach the younger audiences. Maybe it’s all a publicity grab. Maybe—
Your downward spiral is cut off by Misha’s hand resting atop your head and gently scritching at your scalp in an affectionate gesture. “What on earth are you reading so intensely?” He asks with a light chuckle. Unbeknownst to you, your concentration had shown, with a pinch of your brows and a scrunch of your features.
He peeks at your screen and his smile falls, “I thought I told you not to worry about the nonsense online.” He says with another ruffle of your hair. “They don’t know you. Or me. Or us.” He sits beside you on the couch and sets your phone a safe distance away on a nearby coffee table.
“Doesn’t matter what the fans say, we know eachother.” He murmurs in affirmation and takes you under his arm.
