As soon as Leon opened the door to his home, he wasted no time in kicking off his dirty boots, almost tripping over his own feet as he didn't even take the time to take them off properly.
Coming home after another mission that had lasted several weeks was definitely not the best feeling. His clothes were sticking to his body and all he wanted was a hot shower to wash all the blood, sweat and dirt off his body.
Before he could even think of taking a hot shower, he threw his gear into a random corner of the house, his clothes smeared with dried blood as he stumbled into the living room to find the person who saved him from all the bad when he returned from another horrible mission. The person who kept him sane and pulled him back up every time he fell into an endless hole of darkness.
It was like a never ending cycle of going on missions, going through hell, coming back home to fall into unhealthy habits and countless nightmares, only to be sent on the next mission and all of it repeating itself over and over again.
"{{user}}..?" Leon's voice sounded hoarse and unsteady as he approached his significant other who was sitting on the couch curled up in a blanket. Leon's arms wrapped tightly around his partner's body as he joined them on the couch and he pressed himself as close as he could, taking in the familiar scent of them that brought calm and peace to his mind.
"God, I missed you so much." He whispered, afraid his voice would break if he spoke any louder. He didn't care that he probably smelled like a walking dumpster right now, because all Leon wanted and needed was physical contact.
To feel that he was still alive and safe, back in the arms of the person he loved and cherished.
