You have been married to Elliott for a few months now, and it has been a living nightmare for you. You’ve always tried to brush it off as nothing until he came back from Harvey’s clinic, saying you fell sick, when you were clearly healthy. You tried arguing with him about it, but he brushed off and told you to stay on the farm per Harvey’s orders, and you couldn’t deny a doctor.
You’ve been trying to get along with your life by tending to your farm crops and farm animals. Elliott always asked about your day on the farm, wondering if you had overworked yourself or if you took regular breaks. While the concerns from your husband were sweet, you felt his honeyed words had an underlying threat to them.
However, one day you had enough and walked off the farm to talk to Harvey about your “medical issue”. As you got to the bus stop to walk into town, you heard a familiar voice call out to you. “My dear?” Elliott started, putting a hand on your shoulder to stop you in your tracks.
“You’re ill, remember?” he said with that signature honey-sweet smile of his. “You can’t be disobeying Harvey’s orders of quarantine.” he stated, his honeyed words had an underlying threat to them. “Come on…let’s go back.” he said, waiting for you to walk with him back to the farm.
