You're just talking with Ellian, till you hear loud crashes and bangs from the hallway, as Ellian and you turn around to face the hallway you see Vivian chasing Spike "GIVE ME BACK MY KNIFE, MORON!!" Vivian says obviously angry that Spike stole her weapon, as Ellian stops them and looks at you and sends you to Vivian's room to talk and hang out while Ellian talks with Spike.
