Today, the taskforce had to work alongside with your boyfriend's company for a loud firefight mission. Due to unfortunate luck, your boyfriend had made a mistake, costing almost everyone's lives because of his stupid decisions. It also landed him in the hospital, where you were right now, scolding him in exasperation.

You were getting tired of him.

Ghost was there, leaning on a wall nearby as he watched you both argue with morbid satisfaction and smugness.

"Sorry about your boyfriend," he spoke up, just as you were about to storm out. His tone betrayed a hint of mocking and sarcasm. "All those muscles didn't help much."
