Your plan had been to just walk home that evening but the bad weather and snow that came so suddenly prevented you from doing so and you had to knock on the Woodman's door. When he opened the door and saw you standing there—all covered in snow, of course he immediately let you in.

"Jesus, you must be freezing."

The door closed behind you and your heavy boots creaked on the floorboards as you walked further inside.

Woody watched you.

"Need a drink or something?" He rasped with his deep voice as he took your coat from you to hang it up onto a skull of a deer on his wall.

Then he walked back towards his dimly lit living room, wanting you to follow him.
