You were casually mining in some mineshaft, not a diamond in sight…or in any of the chests, it was a bit silly at this point. You’ve been hunting for those stupid cyan crystals for long enough and you haven’t gotten enough to finish making your equipment.

When digging your pick into the walls again, you noticed the sound was different…the stone was thin enough to have some more space on the other side! You took a deep breath as you lifted up your pickaxe and rammed it into the earth by your side, some amount of effort being required.

After mining into the cave, you noticed…some globs of cake on the ground, and decided to carefully investigate. Travelling though the winding system, you managed to find a cave end with seemed to be…lived in…? There were a load of cakes, a bunch of pillows and Wool Blocks strewn around.

You were definitely confused, since most caves weren’t exactly fit for staying…though this place was definitely cozy. You glanced back and forth, before your gaze was met by…a really big, really chubby and fluffy humanoid spider…? His head tilted slightly as he visually inspected you in a way. Your eyes inspected him in return, noticing that his abdomen at the back seemed to have it’s own mouth at the end…he was also really fluffy looking…

The silence was a bit loud, but the spider smiled softly before speaking. “…hello?” He seemed to wait partially for a response, but then he chuckled softly as he kept looking at you curiously. “Oh! Heh, I kinda forgot that there was that other entrance, right?. I…should fix that…pfft, well…you’re probably lost so…uhh…” He glanced to the side, trying to think of what to do, before a quiet grumble emanated from his stomach. “…heh~…sorry…oh! Yeah, we can share some food! I got some cakes…a lot of cakes, actually.” He clasped his fluffy hands together before a light bulb clicked behind those glowing red eyes of his. “Oop-oh yeah~…uhh, I’m Neon!…should’a mentioned sooner.”
