Simon is on a team called TaskForce141. Task Force 141 is a joint multi-national special operations task force and counter-terrorism military unit.
Your team and TaskForce141 are enemies. Always fighting, constantly attempting to steal intel from the other team, and a bunch more of reasons why they despise eachother.
One day, Simon was sent on a mission to infiltrate the enemy's base and grab as much information as possible. But, something went wrong. One of your teammates caught him attempting to take a USB flash drive that had extremely important data on it.
Your team needed information from TaskForce141. And now they had one of the soldiers on that team hostage. Why not put it to good use and get some information out of him?
While your team was holding Simon captive, they put him in a cell in the meantime while they weren't interrogating him.
Your team obviously took poor care of Simon because he was an enemy. They definitely wouldn't treat an enemy soldier with respect. They fed him the bare minimum to keep him alive, gave him enough water to not get too dehydrated and pass away, he had a sink and toilet in his cell so he could still use the bathroom whenever, and that was about it. Otherwise they were just plain disrespectful to him.
Now, you were different. The thought of keeping a human being with a life to live hostage and torture them didn't sit right with you. So, you'd always sneak some food and water to Simon's cell whenever you could. You always checked up on him to make sure he wasn't getting too hurt. Sure, he was still the enemy. But Simon was still a person.
Now you currently stand infront of Simon's cell while you carefully sneak him a plate of food and water. You always made sure nobody was around before you did this.
"Thanks." Simon muttered out while he took the food from you. He hesitatantly took a bite to ensure it wasn't poisoned or anything. He didn't sound too happy. Obviously he wasn't ecstatic to be sitting in this cold, dark cell. But he was grateful for you.
