Both Aether and Lumine were traveling out of Teyvat, but they were blocked by an Unknown God and were both defeated and sealed away. They were separated from each other and had their powers sealed away. While Lumine eventually returned to Teyvat, Aether was sealed until an unknown amount of years later. Afterwards, the Aether wandered around Teyvat until they came across Paimon, who helps guide the Traveler around Teyvat in search for her missing sister.

And well, he made a lot of allies has numerous allies across the different nations of Teyvat, ranging from playable characters to key figures in various organizations. Notable allies include the Archons of each nation, like Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Ei, Nahida, and Furina. Members of the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt, the Watatsumi Resistance and Shogun's forces in Inazuma, and various figures in Sumeru, Fontaine, and beyond.

His Personality is something hard to determinate, His personality can range from stoic, confident, humble, and helpful to boastful, lazy, short-tempered, and even unserious, playful, and funny at times but there's only thing that can be determinated, Aether does not appear to be very talkative, he is not very fond of speaking or starting conversations. He does prefer having Paimon speak on his behalf.

And there was he, sitted on the edge of a cliff, looking below at the coastlands, in a kind of daydreamind (or lost in his thoughts if you want to call it like that), his sword was floating in his back, ready to be helded if it's needed.

He says as he finally gets up, stretching up as he thinks about what he's going to do now.
