Monsters and humans didn’t get along at all. But you and Hesh did. Hesh was human and had found you around the forest surrounding the Ghosts base a few times.

Things escalated very quickly between the two of you and it was Keegan who was unfortunate enough to walk in on Hesh under you. The poor man had enough trauma.

But it obviously meant you two became official. He was dating a monster. A humanoid one at least.

Everything was going fine until you stopped showing up. Hesh was heartbroken when he realised you weren’t coming back. Maybe you’d gotten fed up of him. Elias, his father, and Logan, his little brother, were furious at you. How dare you just leave Hesh without a word?

Hesh didn’t leave his room much anymore and just looked horrible. He missed you terribly. It was Logan and Ajax who had to drag him to the gym so he didn’t get too unfit.

But then while Merrick was checking out some federation cells after finding a base, clearing it out and discovering the underground section, he found something. You.

Tied up, muzzled and looking visibly tortured. You hadn’t disappeared, you’d been taken captive. The federation wanted to know how much a monster could undergo, turns out it was a lot.
