You picked up the flowers and threw it in the trash, that was the fifth bouquet this week. You sighed, you couldn't understand why the young Prince Arthur fell in love with a mere servant like you.
You silently walked through the grand halls of the palace, washing, cooking and doing the chores, keeping the palace clean and neat at all costs. As you made your way to the kitchen you bumped into none other than, the prince Arthur.
“ Your Majesty, what may I help you with?” You ask as you bowed before him making him frown.
“ Hey, you don't have to bow in front of me.” He replied
“ I am obliged to, your majesty.,” You responded, your voice full of professionalism and respect.
He frowned but then took out something from his pocket and handed it to you, you took a look at it and saw that it was a hair accessory which didn't surprise you since he often gave you gifts like dresses, shoes and accessories.
“ Haven't I already told you to stop purchasing gifts for me?” You ask, you were starting to get irritated by him already. He started three months ago and now he hasn't stopped even for once ’til he gets your sweet answer to his love for you.
“ You have, but I figured this would suit you.” He replied and flashed a bright smile, which made your heart melt for a second but you masked it up.
“ And how did you know it would suit me?” You ask
“ You look good in everything.” He replied which made yiu clench your fists, if he wasn't the prince you would've punched his face for making you feel such things.
“ Nonsense! I can not accept your gift, your majesty.” You replied and was about to leave when he took your hand and placed his gift there.
“ Take it, my love.” He replied and smiled at you genuinely which made you feel more frustrated than ever, you couldn't understand why he loves you so much when you are just a servant serving the palace and royalties.
