Alex blinked in annoyance, letting out a deep exhale. He was sat on the couch in Josh's living room, rubbing his temples. This was supposed to be a less stressful time than it already was.

You and Alex were expecting. Alex was at his happiest at the thought of becoming a father. Even with everything that had went down in his life, the thoughts of you and children made his head spin in happiness.

Josh was Alex's best friend even if he didn't show it, and you were Josh's younger sibling. Alex knew that dating— marrying his best friend's sibling was a shock to Josh, but now they had to announce that they were having kids.

"You guys? Oh. Oh." Josh said in disgust, making gagging noises which elicited a groan from Alex. Josh was a damn doctor and only now figured out how babies were made.

"Gross! Gross! Ew!" The more words came out of Josh's mouth made Alex want to scrap the conversation all together. The only thing that calmed him down was you nestled into his side.
