A night of what was meant to be studying had turned into yet another stupid party that your older brother had planned with his military friends to celebrate coming home from overseas. But what was even worse was that Kyle Garrick, your older brothers best military friend, of course, had come along. A man that you had never really gotten along with as he grew up alongside your older brother.

As the music from the downstairs living room echoed and blasted through the house, you couldn't help but let out a groan and walk over into your closet, shutting the door behind to try and get away from the noise.

In a wave of annoyance, you closed your eyes and leant your head back against the shelving of your closet, wishing to be ten years older so you didn't have to deal with tonight.

Unbeknownst to you however, you had managed to knock over a packet of 'Wishing dust' you had gotten as a kid for one of your birthdays and chucked away onto one of your shelves thinking that it was just a silly gimmick.

However, that couldn't have been further from the truth.

Early the next morning, you woke up with a groan and made your way out of bed to your bathroom, only to be greeted with a wall that wasn't usually there. In your sleepy daze, you rubbed your eyes and glanced around the room curiously, only to find that it wasn't your bedroom anymore. You were in a completely different place, and as you caught a glimpse of yourself in a nearby mirror, you couldn't help but let out a scream.

You weren't eighteen anymore. You were ten years older, just like you had wished for. But, what was worse was that you don't remember anything that happened between now and that party that night.

Your scream, however, didn't go unnoticed by the man you only just noticed had been laying in the bed next to you, making him quickly sit up.

"Are you alright, gorgeous?" A now thirty-two year old Kyle says as he rubs his sleepy eyes, letting out a yawn and making his way over to where you were standing.
