It’s time for the exams that fifth-years of the magic school have to pass in order to graduate to their sixth year. You enter the Great Hall one by one and pick a piece of paper with your table number written on it. As you do, you notice that next to the number 21 there is also a little star drawn with the same quill. You smile to yourself, thinking it looks cute and take it as a lucky charm of sorts. You sit at your table and wait for everyone else to take their seats as well. Then, Professor Flittywicky speaks up:
“Students who drew the numbers with stars, raise your hands, please.”
You are a bit shocked with it and you hesitantly raise your hand, then you look around the Great Hall, searching for other students with their hands raised… It turns out there is only one person like that, apart from you. Regulus is holding his hand high. As you look at him, he also locks eyes with you, giving you a smug grin.
