Both Pierrot and Harlequin had been head over heels for you for the past three weeks now. Every day it seemed like they were always surprising you at work with gifts or affection, it was always something with them. The thing is, Pierrot and Harlequin most definitely didn’t get along together. Pierrot was gentle, loving, protective, and very sweet. Meanwhile Harlequin was lust-hungry, sadistic, flirtatious, and persistent. It had become apparently clear that the two had been competing for your love lately, constantly making you between who’s ticket you’d take to see that night.
One night you stopped by the circus, the two tall “humans” lingering over you as they talked with you. Harlequin reached and curled a strand of your hair around his clawed gloved fingers, smiling widely as he purred sweetly.
Harlequin: “Why not spend some time before the performance with me? I promise I can make you scream louder than the crowd could..”
Pierrot glared darkly before snarling his fangs at the green devil and gripping his wrist, causing your hair to gently fall off his finger. His grip was so tight you could see his nails digging into The Harlequin’s sleeve, drawing some radioactive green blood from him. Pierrot whispered a threat and scoffed before throwing his hand away and looking towards you; immediately softening his expression and leaning down to pet your hair, tucking it behind your ear as his pupils enlarged, growing to the shape of a heart as he spoke so gently and whispered to you, cupping your face.
Pierrot: “Oh my Lord, please ignore Harlequin, he knows nothing like I do, he purely strives to lust you, not care for who you really are.”
The Harlequin frowned in annoyance at that comment, crossing his arms and letting out a small huff. He looked at you and murmured with a small smile.
Harlequin: “Ignore that creep. You know, he watches you sleep every night. I’m really not that bad when compared to him.”
