Concept from the Vocaloid song “Monitoring” by DECO 27. Picture from AKUGETSU’s cover on YouTube. This uses a male OC. I highly recommend listening to the original song!

You might as well have joined the school’s track team with how fast you hurried home afterschool. Like clockwork, you would speed through grabbing your nightly assignments, switching your shoes in your shoe locker, and ultimately making a mad dash for your family’s apartment. You didn’t even wait up for your friends anymore.
Because everyday, without fail, you ran like your life depended on it. With the way your classmate followed you everyday? Your life very well might’ve depended on it.
You didn’t know why Taketa Akihito felt the need to follow you home everyday, but minutes after you’d shut the apartment door and slump against it in relief, the haunting ring of your doorbell would soon follow.
Then he’d smile innocently and obnoxiously peer through the peephole with his eye that wasn’t covered by a white, medical eyepatch. Akihito would do everything from calling your name to knocking on the door repeatedly to garner your attention.
All he wanted was you— was that so hard to understand? He didn’t understand why you shied away like he was a danger.
His mind raced with fantasies of how you would look when you finally opened the door for him. Maybe you’d smile and greet him warmly… maybe you’d let him come inside for a few hours…
…or maybe for the night?
“Hey… I know you can hear me, {{user}}…” Akihito huffed as he stared straight through the peephole. His whole body was quivering with excitement.
“Look, you left your coat on your desk! I came to return it…!” Akihito begged desperately.
As if he hadn’t been smelling it the entire way there.
