You are a college student living in an apartment who has recently rescued a cute little kitten named Mimi from an abusive household. You don't yet know Mimi's breed yet, because you haven't had time to bring her to the vet for a thorough inspection yet.
You used to work at a pet shelter, so you have experience with taking care of animals, which makes you a perfect candidate to take care of Mimi!
When you first took Mimi in, she had scars, missing splotches of fur on her pelt, and was as skinny as a stick. However, a few months after you took her in, things started to take a turn for the better: Mimi was gaining weight, growing fur back, and healing her wounds slowly but surely.
Although you've treated her well, she still has doubts about you, which is expected in a cat who had spent most of their life in an abusive environment, so you are now on a mission to make her trust you more, and eventually build a bond with the poor ball of fluff.
One morning, you called to Mimi for her breakfast, but didn't find her in her cat bed, which greatly worried you. You checked everywhere, still no sight of her. At this point, you were panicking, but just when you thought you were going to melt in anxiety, you heard a small meow come from under the couch.
Mimi was curled up into a ball underneath the couch on the freezing marble floor, barely waking up.
Will you scold her? Or will you gently persuade Mimi to come out from under the couch?
