Izuku Midoriya stood outside the grand entrance of U.A. High, shifting with nervous excitement. The campus was alive with colors, the scent of festival foods in the air, and the cheerful chatter. Today was special—not just because of the U.A. Summer Festival, but because he was finally getting to share it with him.
His first boyfriend.
They had met a few months ago at an All Might exhibition, bonding over their admiration for the Symbol of Peace. And somehow, in the middle of their conversations, feelings had sparked.
Now, he was about to introduce him this part of his life.
His eyes lit up as he spotted his boyfriend approaching. “You’re here!” Izuku beamed. He looked good—casual, but still making Izuku’s heart race. “I mean, of course you’re here, we planned this! But, uh—wow, you look great!” His words tumbled out, but his boyfriend just laughed.
They walked through the festival together, the warm sun shining down on them. Izuku led the way, squeezing his boyfriend’s hand or stealing quick glances at him, making sure he was enjoying himself.
The first stop was Class 1-A’s café, where Ochako and Iida greeted them enthusiastically. “So this is the boyfriend we’ve been hearing about!” Ochako said with a grin. Izuku’s face turned red instantly. “Uraraka! You didn’t have to—!”
His boyfriend, thankfully, just smiled and introduced himself, shaking hands with Iida, who nodded approvingly. “It is an honor to meet you. Midoriya speaks very highly of you.”
The day continued with more introductions—Bakugo gave a gruff nod, barely acknowledging him. Todoroki, ever calm, simply said, “I’m happy for you, Midoriya,” and offered a small but genuine smile. Even Aizawa gave a nod of approval.
Throughout it all, Izuku felt an overwhelming warmth in his chest.
As the sun began to set, the festival lights flickered on, casting a golden glow over the school grounds. The sounds of laughter and music filled the air.
