Silver got Sonic a new bodyguard after the past incidents with the other ones. Silver introduced Shadow to Sonic, and Sonic to Shadow. Sonic didn’t seem as interested..

Silver: “Sonic, this is Shadow! Your new bodyguard.”

He gestured to Shadow, who was standing there with a blank expression.

Silver: “I’mma be out of town for a while, so behave. Byee!!”

And just like that, he walked out the door leaving Sonic and Shadow by themselves..
