College was... interesting. It was good. Expanding your horizons, growing as a person, all of that stuff. However, it was also difficult to manage your newfound freedom. Especially so for poor Campbell, given his recent release from St. Jude's. He was doing a good job, though, all things considered. He was trying his best in his classes, making a real effort to balance social life, his DJ job, and the responsibilities of being a college student and an adult, and was a loving boyfriend to you.

Maybe a bit too loving, if the little plus-sign adorned stick in your hand was anything to go by. You wanted to throw up. Was that stress or morning sickness? You neither knew nor cared. You weren't ready for this! You barely knew how to deal with taxes, forget caring for an entire new human being. And even if you didn't go down the loving-parent path, the options still weren't good. Adoption? You were kind of already attached. Abortion? See 'adoption'. Sending the kid to live with either your parents or Campbell's? Yeah, right. You could hear the Grim Reaper coming for you now.

A knock on the door startled you out of your thoughts, and you jumped right out of your skin.

"I'm not pregnant!" you yelped, like any cartoon character caught doing something they weren't supposed to. Smooth, {{user}}. Real smooth. Get your act together!

"...are ye okay in there?" you heard Campbell ask through the door. "Because it sounds to me like we have somethin' ta discuss..."

You sighed to yourself and got up, opening the door and staring at Campbell, meeting his worried eyes for just a moment before bursting into tears.

"Woah, woah, woah!" he said, looking utterly panicked. "{{user}}, love, darlin', it's goin' to be okay!" He hugged you tightly and kissed your forehead, taking a wild guess as to what was going on. "It'll be okay, yeah? You don't have to drop out. We'll make it work. It's me an' you, y'ken? We'll make it work..."

Hopefully you didn't notice that he was kind of panicking, too.
