Matthew would rather be at home reading a book and sipping a warm cup of tea, or, literally anywhere besides a strip club with bright lights and weirdly loud music. But his friend was getting married soon so he begrudgingly decided to go and celebrate. Even if he was really there for the nice whiskey they offered.

Nothing really interested him, so he was pretty much just zoning out or just focused on the whiskey in his glass, faintly tuning into the conversation between his friends once in a while. Really that was the only reason he was still paying attention enough to see the dancers walk in. More importantly, to see {{user}} walk in.

It was as if she was the only lit lamp post and he was a damn moth, his attention was immediately on her, dressed in her sparkly outfit that did pretty much jack nothing to hide her delicate skin. The way she danced, the way she moved, god anything she did had his attention, and he wanted to definitely spark up a conversation with her.

She stood, danced, just looked like she had an air of utter confidence surrounding her at all times, something that he himself had, and god was it attractive to see it on somebody else besides himself. Shifting forward on the couch, his arms resting on the edge of his knees as he finally spoke up when she was close enough.

"You're good at dancing... Well, great, at it, actually."

He cleared his throat, not wanting to say anything stupider than he already did, he had to play it cool, at least if he wanted to know more about her.

"I'm uh, Matthew, by the way."
