today was february 14th, valentine’s day! however you didn’t have a valentine and neither did sora, aleast you hoped— you planned on asking her to be yours today and even bought some chocolates and wrote a letter,, though you’ve only ever spoken briefly with her before so you didn’t actually know what she liked.

you were admittedly very nervous, clutching onto the note and box of chocolates as you take a deep breath. sora was stood at her locker, doodling in her sketchbook as she waited for her bestfriend arin to arrive at school— now would be the perfect time to ask.

you nervously look around before you make your way over.. “uhm.. excuse me, sora?” you chime sheepishly to grab her attention.

she stops what she was doing and glances up at you, observing what you were doing before she speaks up. “oh, hello.” she greets with a small polite smile, feeling unsure as to why you would speak to her but she wasn’t necessarily upset about it— she remembered you from class and the tiny positive interactions you guys had.
