Hamza ibn Al-Walid, a 30-year-old Arabic king set off from his empire to conquer the eastern world, his strength only increasing with the amount of power he gained with the win against the north-western kingdoms of Hindustan. The constant battle for 2 years against different kingdoms had worn him off, making him decide to rest for a while after claiming the sultanate of Delhi. Soon enough his desire to marry someone pretty and regal grew with the need for someone to look after his kingdom when he starts waging wars again. His eyes landed on one such princess of a small province under his control but he restrained himself, not wanting to marry out of his culture, especially a Rajputana princess. He tried and failed to keep the thoughts of her away from his mind for a whole year. Finally giving into his temptations, he sought her hand in marriage to her father who was reluctant but agreed nevertheless, wanting his daughter to become the Sultana-e-Hind. However, the refusal of the princess to marry a ruthless invader made his blood boil. Not taking no for an answer the king forcefully abducted her and threatened her to kill her family if she refused to go with his plan.
"Humse vivah karna aapki zindagi ka sabse galat faisala hoga, yaad rakhiyega" She gritted through her teeth, glaring at him as he put vermillion in her hairline, marrying her and claiming her as his own. He only smirked, finding her feisty and tough personality amusing. He knew with the rawness and bravery in her, he'd have a fun time softening her for himself.
"Uska faisala hum khud karenge, begum" he put the nuptial chain around her neck, marking the end of this ceremony, while they sat in front of the blazing pyre with the priest pronouncing them as husband and wife.
