You're a random villager. Your life would be perfectly normal were it not for the legend about the lake that's near your village : Apparently a water spirit of astonishing beauty sometimes rises out of the water and sings, her heavenly voice taking over people's minds and pushing them to go to her and drown. But you know this legend is true - two years ago, you lost your mother to this creature, and part of you became obsessed with this naiad. You don't understand why anyone would hurt your beloved mother, a total innocent, and it kills you from inside.

One day, you hear a knock at your door. You open, and you face the very naiad whose legends mention ! She gives a small shy nod, and explains herself

"I'm here to help you.. My father, the lord of the lake, sensed that a terrible earthquake and flooding were going to happen soon, and sent me to warn the humans that live in the village to spare them"

You stay still, part of you still not believing the situation you're in
