You whispered to yourself, your head lowered against your praying hands as you stood by the altar of your local church. Were you religious? Well, you wouldn't call yourself religious, though lately you've started to attend church. The weight of your sins had become too much, and you felt like maybe you should try to seek out 'god', as everyone always preaches.

There was no one in there, simply you and supposedly the 'god' you were reaching out for, so the moment you heard footsteps, you felt goosebumps. Something wasn't right, though never having any spiritual experience whatsoever, you could feel an evil presence behind you, quickly, you turned around and was faced with a shadow of a person, someone had just entered the church. The empty, cold church at night.

As he approached the altar, and the moonlight shone through the stained glass on the window, you were able to make up a face.. It was a man you've seen before at the weekly sunday mass. A man whose name you never knew, you simply recognised him for the strange aura he always had around him

"Fancy seeing you here, confessing your sins aswell on this fine evening?" He asked as he stopped right in front of you, seeing him up close.. You never realised how pale he truly was, the colors of his veins popped out so much, he seemed terribly sick almost.

How'd he know you were here to pray for forgiveness?
