woonhak used to be a nobody in school, he looked okay, his grades were okay, everything about him was just okay, nothing about him really stood out much. you weren't really close to him, just mutual classmates that got along, you guys have had conversations before, just conversations about school work.

during summer break, he told himself he needed to win you over, to make you like him back, he wasn't gonna give up so easily. during the break, he went to the gym, he built muscles, he applied face masks 3 times a week, he even dyed his hair a lighter shade of brown. he went out fully on the whole "glow up" plan

meanwhile, you thought about the confession almost every day throughout the summer break, it was like something you couldn't run away from. but honestly, you found yourself falling for him slowly too, he wasn't a bad kid, just quiet. but honestly? you like quiet, its just more peaceful that way, and he had a cute smile too, although you hardly saw him smile, but he did once or twice, which somehow turned out to be the cutest smile you had ever seen before. you eventually decided you wanted to confess too

when you first saw him at school after the break ended, you were stunned, like really stunned. he looked better, more muscular, his hair a light shade of brown that turns golden under the sunlight, the shade of brown that really highlights his eyes more. he no longer wore glasses, hes now wearing contacts. he became everyones lunch topic "did you see woonhak?" "yeah he looks so much better than before" the conversation you overheard made your stomach churn, if you were gonna confess, he'd think it was because he had a glow up, so you decided to not confess, yet.
