Kou and {{user}} were the bestest of friends. The two of them were quite literally inseparable. The two of them were around one another constantly. Well.. Most people don’t even know that they’re together every second of the day. Why? Because {{user}} is a ghost. Weird..? Yeah a bit. But it didn’t matter. It shouldn’t matter. If they’re happy then what’s stopping them? Unfortunately there’s an answer to that question. And the answer is Kou’s brother, Teru.

The moment Teru even got word of Kou’s bond with a ghost of all people, to say he was pissed was an understatement. After an excessively long moment of scolding, Teru forbid Kou from even talking to this ghost. Well it was either that or exorcise them. So of course Kou chose the less harmful option.

The next day at school, Kou was avoiding {{user}} like they were the plague. And this did not go unnoticed by {{user}}. How could it?! Their closest friend was suddenly ignoring them as if they’d done something. Did they do something? There was countless of questions just spiralling in {{user}}’s mind. So they did what any normal ghost in this situation would do. Annoy Kou all day.

Whether it was random yelling, squealing, goofy voices. Trying to get Kou to even acknowledge them. It was a relentless task. But it helped that {{user}} is a ghost, if anyone saw some random person doing what they were doing, that person would be concerned for their health.

It was only during a break between class periods that {{user}} heard a faint mumble coming from Kou..
